En las últimas 48 horas se han producido dos ataques de similares características a camiones que transitaban por la sureña región de La Araucanía... El primer ataque se registró en la madrugada del pasado domingo en Victoria, a unos 620 kilómetros de Santiago... En un lapso de cuatro horas, al menos unos 20 encapuchados asaltaron una caseta de peaje, quemaron un camión, tirotearon con perdigones tres vehículos -entre ellos un furgón policial- robaron al conductor de un cuarto vehículo e intentaron robar un quinto... Otro grupo de encapuchados asaltó e incendió durante la madrugada de este martes un camión. El hecho se produjo en la autopista longitudinal sur, a 579 kilómetros de Santiago, en las cercanías de la localidad de Collipulli... Los asaltantes encendieron una fogata en la calzada para detener el vehículo, intimidaron al conductor, prendieron fuego al camión y dispararon al aire con escopetas... Estos episodios, en los que no hubo heridos y cuyos autores permanecen prófugos, ocurrieron dos días después del anuncio del Gobierno chileno de completar la compra de tierras a 115 comunidades mapuches en la zona...
